DEFINING A DESTINATION THROUGH PLACEMAKING

Crescent Place is a mixed-use community located in Leesburg, Virginia. Upon completion, Crescent Place will offer 224 modern townhomes, opulent multi-family homes, and live/work townhome condominiums with vibrant retail below.

CHALLENGE

Crescent Place was once home to the Barber and Ross window and door manufacturing plant before the developer purchased it and worked to get it rezoned. Once the project was rezoned, LM Marketing Group was tasked with helping to introduce urban-style living to Historic Downtown Leesburg within the Crescent District. By recognizing the community’s assets and through the inspiration of its potential, LM Marketing Group worked to define a destination and establish a sustainable placemaking program for the community of Crescent Place.

RESULTS

With over 20 years of experience working with builders and developers, LM Marketing Group used that expertise to help establish Crescent Place as a destination that’s bringing a mix of modern retail and townhome living to Leesburg’s historic district. LM Marketing Group became immersed in the neighborhood, taking inspiration from the community and the local businesses to develop an identity and marketing suite that is cohesive and comfortable with downtown Leesburg – revitalizing the Crescent District. Starting from scratch using the inspiration from these connections and while envisioning the community’s plan for growth, LM Marketing Group began a thorough community branding and identity process. And Crescent Place came alive through the community logo, color palette, signage, website, sales center location layout, events and more. Crescent Place fits right into Downtown Leesburg. The proof is in the numbers. Sales are happily ahead of pro forma and that’s the warmest neighborly welcome imaginable.
