Rebrand & Reclaim. Lake Frederick is a master planned community located in Frederick County, Virginia. Upon completion, Lake Frederick will consist of 2,019 homes to include market rate and active adult homesites.

CHALLENGE

This community was on hard times for sure. The active adult project was stalled for more than three years without a developer and was on the brink of foreclosure. Instead of building homes, the community was building a negative reputation. Lansdowne Development Group purchased the land and worked to rezone the project to include market rate units in a once 55+ community. LM Marketing Group rebranded the community and brought new life home to Lake Frederick.

RESULTS

Using LM Marketing Group’s guidance and expertise, Lake Frederick began repositioning itself as a gated community with a new name and an all-new and impressive list of resort-style amenities. LM Marketing Group rebranded the community – going from Shenandoah to Lake Frederick – with a new logo, color palette, and website. Even the signage was re-designed and refreshed. With these strategic steps to revive Lake Frederick, LM Marketing Group helped the developer to bring two new national builders on the scene, both who were familiar with the local market. And the sales started coming. And coming. Today, the sales pace remains ahead of pro forma and new life is reclaimed at Lake Frederick.
