A Brand is a Big Deal. Cupcakes Actually is a boutique cupcake company owned by two sisters – with two locations, Fairfax Corner and The Villages at Leesburg. The Owners are cupcake snobs for sure – as their recipes are the personal treasures and creations of their main cupcake curator. But, in an effort to make the world a little bit sweeter they did not stop at cupcakes – they also offer custom cakes, cookies, cake pops, gelato, gourmet coffees, and dog treats.

If you have the wrong brand or a dated brand – you risk losing traffic and ultimately sales. You only have one chance to make a great first impression. And, the Owners of Cupcakes Actually know this as well as any of us. So, as the Owners of the company were looking to grow their business and expand into online ordering, shipping and delivery – they felt their brand needed a fresh look. LM Marketing Group was tasked with evaluating their business practice, their current online ordering system, and their online visibility. We were also asked to help rebrand and reposition Cupcakes Actually.

LM Marketing Group met with the Owners to ensure their personalities and their passion for cupcakes and sweet treats were clearly conveyed. And, with their huge photography portfolio – it was easy for us to fully tell their story while adding pops of color throughout the site. LM Marketing also found an effective eCommerce solution for their new website – one that made online ordering seamless and kept the artistic, fresh new look they desired.

LM Marketing Group also created a strategic Google campaign and an online digital campaign to help reach a larger audience and drive traffic to their website and stores. Understanding their market, we were able to differentiate them from their competition and position Cupcakes Actually as a boutique cupcake company that offers sweet treats, beautifully created and unique to the market. Their selection of cupcakes and treats will have you visiting them week after week. Just one month after launching their new website they experienced a jump in traffic and their online sales are exceeding their expectations. Now, that is what we call a success in making the world a little bit sweeter!
